What Happened ?Crystal Springs Motel was our Calgary getaway, it was always consistently clean comfortable and offered a decent breakfast...We just came back from a weekend at the hotel, it was very disappointing. It looks like it was new management or owners running the Motel. The room was not as clean as usual, found food on the floor and the bathroom was also not up to "usual par". The breakfast was un-edible, everything was cold (not even luke warm) the waffles were a joke. We ended up having to eat elsewhere. The attendants were not around nearly as much as before. Too bad...
I went here with my family as a part of our vacation when we wanted to visit the Radium hot springs. We got a 3 bed family room. The place was very clean, looks newly renovated and the shower is just awesome. Didn't have a full kitchen though, but for a short night stay a microwave was sufficient. Free wifi was fast enough for video streaming. Free breakfast in the morning too! And there are some outdoor seats available. Overall a pleasant experience.
The room was delightful. Newly renovated, the showers were amazing. Room was spacious, beds were soft and very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, nothing spectacular though. Location was good. Outdoor seating area was lovely.
We were very pleased with our stay in the motel. They are under new management and we felt that we really got great value for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional for a motel! Freshly pan fried eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, and kicking horse coffee! There is also alot of cute outdoor patio space to enjoy. Overall, high praises all around!
Very nice, polite and beautiful girl receptionist (Asian). :) The room was super-clean, the breakfast very good. I would recommend this motel to everybody.
