Booked a room online and took a chance. SO glad we did! What a cozy beautiful little motel! Yes, as per some reviews the rooms are small and simple - but the pros are the winning factors here. Immaculately clean - beautiful cozy little deck upstairs with so many beautiful flowers where we could enjoy a drink during the evening and our coffee in the morning. Also a small communal fire pit area and a fantastic continental breakfast in the breakfast room upstairs. The host even offered to make us pancakes! The whole building is just so charming and well taken care of. You can see the pride in ownership and it was a pleasure to stay there as it felt so welcoming and comfortable. I will take a simple room any day for all the pros that came along with it. I will definately be back when I need to pass through that way again!
Stayed overnight on a motorcycle ride with 4 others. We stayed in 13 different motels on our ride and this one was hands down the best. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. Joe the owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. He served the breakfast that his wife had prepared and it was great. Would definitely recommend the Gateway to anyone staying in Radium Springs. This is a great little motel. It's clean, I don't mean just looks clean, it SMELLS clean. It's affordable and it's only 5 minutes from the Radium Hot Springs.they offer up towels for you to take to the springs so you don't need to bring your own. We'll definitely use this motel again given the chance. It's a 10 minute walk to most amenities and some are even closer. Well worth the money to stay here for a night or more!
Cute motel on the road from the hot springs into radium. The folks running the motel were so friendly and helpful. They make fantastic pancakes for breakfast. The rooms are clean and smell fresh. Will definitely return to this motel over others in radium we've stayed at as well, provided the Gateway isn't fully booked.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The motel was beautifully decorated with thousands of flowers. The included breakfast in the morning included amazing home-made quiche, selection of fresh baked, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, and juice, all enjoyed from the second story breakfast nook overlooking the mountain valley. What a way to start the morning! Our family will be making this our place to stay when in Radium.
