It was my first time going white water rafting and had an incredible experience with this company! The guides were amazing and were clear on the safety instructions and what to do. I had Christie as my guide going down the Kicking Horse river and she was so much fun! I highly recommend Kootenay River Runners for first timers and experienced rafters.
Had a blast yesterday on the Kootenay River. All the guides were really cool and knowledgeable! Tyler was our guide and he was absolutely awesome! He was really nice and truly made the experience so much greater. He told stories about things that had happened on the river but was also informative and gave out some facts about the rocks, mountains, and the river itself. In terms of the rafting it had a good mix of calm scenic views and more intense rapids. Also, they had fun water waters against other boats! Definitely family friendly. Another thing I liked was the fact that they take pictures of your trip so you don't have to take your camera if you don't want to. They also gave snacks along the way. I only did the half day and was definitely satisfied with my experience. I would definitely book with this company again
I took my two kids on a white water rafting trip with Kootenai River runners and we had the best day of Our Lives. Fantastic guides and everybody else that works for this company is extremely friendly and accommodating. You will not be disappointed if you decide to make a day on the river with Kootenai River runners.
