I am very dissapointed with the Redstreak campground. We are stayed in B section. The sites are crowded and crammed with little privacy. The washrooms are absolutely filthy and in need of repair and are not cleaned everyday. The first night we arrived I found one of the campers in the bathroom trying to unplug one of only two toilets. He said the same toilet kept plugging last year. We have seen absolutely no park staff around quiet time. People are driving around at 2, 3 am. Kids are yelling and screaming, it's a gong show. We will never come to this campground again. I strongly advise anyone that is considering staying here to keep on driving.
Third visit, two by RV and today by tent . . . All great experiences. Bathrooms clean but a little old style. Good showers! Camp site level, adequate room, fire pit and unmovable picnic table. Loads of shade. Love staying here for wild life viewing.
Great place to camp! Nice amenities and things for kids to do :) Can even do a short hike to Radium Hot Springs. Enjoyed the area very much!
We had a great experience during our family camping trip. The camping staff always made their efforts to see to it that the camp rules were followed and everything were in order. The proximity to stores whenever supplies need replenishment are great too. Nearby activities, like taking a dip in the radium hot pools, hiking, whitewater rafting, etc, are a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone who wish to be one with nature.
Arrived. Waited in line to find out very few sites left. Drove around/through to visually see which site we liked. Went back to office to pay and we are told we have to go to the back of the line again. Won't let us pay at the exit window. Wait 45 minutes in line AGAIN only to be told the site we wanted has been sold. So we take the last terrible site they had. Tented it on an RV pad with no trees for shade or privacy. Woke up and they confiscated our cooler, pots/pans, liquor on Friday morning of the long weekend liquor ban. Left a note saying to come get it at the office, ya with a big fat fine I'm sure too. No thanks. Keep it. That sucked. I won't be back.
